AN AESTHETIC TOUCH FOR A BUILDING-WIDE GAS-LINE REPLACEMENT MANHATTAN, NYC
This is an unusual sort of design project, but one for which we are well-suited with our background in construction and project management. This 16 story, 246 unit residential building on the Upper West Side has been without gas for three years due to old pipe lines leaking. The replacement project is enormous and expensive, running new gas lines through every corridor and into each apartment. Our task was to make it look beautiful once the pipes and required 2-hour fire-rated pipe enclosure soffits were done. We worked closely with all aspects from pre-planning, design, bidding, and on site review to ensure that pipes would be hung to suit the finished aesthetic.
