The iconic 1960's era ceiling light fixture inspired the design style of this large and odd shaped lobby. The large floor space was artfully brought into proportion with a colorful organic cementitious floor design which created an attractive pathway to the elevators and first floor medical offices.  The project design addressed several technical issues, including providing surfaces that could survive the occasional flooding from city storm sewer overflow which had destroyed two subsequent versions of the lobby.
